At the end of the year, Anthony Pettis will be one of the coaches of reality show The Ultimate Fighter alongside Gilbert Melendez, his next challenger for the lightweight belt. The choice of coaches created the expectation of potential confusion between the coaches' teams, as Melendez confirmed that the controversial brothers Nick and Nate diaz will be part of your team.

Pettis has already changed several public barbs towards Nate, who, in turn, has already challenged the current lightweight champion on several occasions. However, “Showtime” ruled out the possibility of repeating in TUF 20 the scenes seen in the last season of the Brazilian edition of the program, which had a fight between Wanderlei Silva e Chael Sonnen.
