Wanderlei wants Belfort in Bellator: 'I'm going to beat you up'

Former Pride champion waits for his rival to sign with promotion so that rematch can finally happen

The output of Vitor belfort of the UFC, announced by the fighter himself and confirmed for January, cheered up one of his biggest rivals. In the first duel between the two, Belfort won in less than a minute in the first UFC held on Brazilian soil, in 1998. After the duel, the Phenomenon remained in Ultimate for a few more years, had a discreet stint in Pride and became light heavyweight champion from the UFC. Wanderlei became one of the biggest stars in the history of the same Pride, being the organization's light heavyweight champion, in addition to winning the 2003 light heavyweight GP. A new duel between the two almost took place in 2012, but Belfort was injured and the two They never got their revenge.
