Just over a week before its completion, the UFC Sao Paulo suffered a new low this Friday (20). The duel between Boston Salmon and Raoni barcelos was canceled due to an injury suffered by the American. The fight between Salmon and Barcelos would mark the debut of both fighters in Ultimate. The North American was identified as a possible addition to the squad at the Dana White Contender Series event, dedicated to finding future promises for the UFC. Salmon would face Augusto Tanquinho, world jiu-jitsu champion, but the Brazilian suffered an injury and was replaced by his compatriot.
