The controversial doping of Anderson Silva There should be another chapter this Friday (13). According to Bob Bennett, executive director of the Nevada Athletic Commission, the results of the test carried out by the Brazilian after his fight against Nick Diaz at UFC 183, on the 31st, should be announced in the next few hours. Although it is not yet official, some vehicles guarantee that  Spider was also caught in this exam. Previously, Anderson had already been caught using the anabolic steroids androsterone and drostanolone.

Despite not going into details, Bennett showed some concern to clarify Anderson's doping and even talked about carrying out another test.

“We cannot comment as we are working on the case documents. The exam should be released within the next 24 hours, but I can't go into details about it. The tests requested by the commission were the usual ones: urine and blood outside of competition and the tests on the day of the fight, but we can request an additional test if we think it will be important to clarify the case”, said Bob.

In addition to the test in which Anderson was caught, on January 9th, the Brazilian was subjected to another test on the 19th of the same month and no prohibited substances were found.

The first hearing of Anderson Silva at the Athletic Commission to open the process will take place next Tuesday, February 17th. If doping Anderson Silva is confirmed, the Brazilian could face a nine-month suspension if he confesses to using illegal substances. However, the hook can take up to two years away from competition.
