Johnny Walker reveals admiration for Jon Jones, but says: 'I would beat him!'

Brazilian confirms he is a fan of the North American, and confirms his desire to face the current champion in the future

The Brazilian Johnny Walker stated that he would win a duel against the current light heavyweight champion (up to 93 kg.), Jon Jones. The information was disclosed in a recent interview with the program 'The Body Lock'. Walker has become famous within the company after his meteoric knockouts in recent fights.

“I only have eyes for the Jon Jones. I grew up watching this guy fight. I played with him in the video game and I would be very happy to fight against him. I would beat him”, said the Brazilian, who also joked: “I hope the fight doesn't end too quickly, because I want to enjoy it. I want to enjoy the moment, because it’s a dream come true”, commented Johnny.

Before being able to fight the North American legend, Walker needs to wait for the result of the clash between the current champion and the Brazilian Thiago Marreta, which is scheduled to take place in July, at UFC 239. In addition to Johnny, North American Luck Rockhold, former UFC middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg), moved up a category and recently also confirmed his desire to face 'Bones'.

In his last two fights, the 27-year-old Brazilian impressed everyone by defeating his opponents by knockout in less than a minute. Walker, to date, has had three fights for the organization, winning every time in the first round.
