In preparation for an unprecedented chance in Ultimate, Steve Erceg exudes nothing but confidence before facing Alexandre pantoja for the flyweight title (up to 56.7kg.). Scheduled to face the champion in the UFC 301, on May 4th, the Australian revealed how he sees the outcome of the long-awaited clash in front of the Brazilian public in Rio de Janeiro.

“I think that technically Pantoja is failing in some areas and I will exploit this in the best possible way with my skills to emerge as new champion. I think I’m going to finish Pantoja in the third round,” said Erceg in an interview with 'MainEventTV'.

Currently ranked 10th in the flyweight rankings, Erceg has been riding high on three consecutive UFC victories and 11 in his career. Known for his boxing skills, the Australian had a stellar performance in his last outing and brutally knocked out his rival in the second round of the fight.
