José Aldo updates on negotiation of possible contract renewal with UFC

After a triumphant return to UFC 301, José Aldo his contract with Ultimate ended. Amid fans' expectations about the Brazilian's possible renewal with the organization, the 'King of Rio' opened the game and revealed that his coach Dedé Pederneiras is in constant negotiation with the representatives in order to resolve what will be the best step to take. for your future career.

“Now we are negotiating. It is Dedé (Pederneiras) who is negotiating directly with Sean (Sealby) and they are in a meeting. We're just going to wait and see what happens. We already have several proposals on the table and now they will decide what is best for me in the future”, said Aldo in an interview with The MMA Hour.

By continuing his speech, Aldo assured that the focus is not on money but on possible paths to perhaps win a second UFC title.

“It all depends on what they are going to present. What will be the plan in the future. It's not just a question of money now, we're not thinking about that. We think a lot more about what I can still do, where I can go and so that's what we have to see now. Regardless of anything, I always dreamed of being the champion and trained for it. My body is prepared for this. The (last) fight I had, I was a complete MMA fighter. I’m feeling really good about being a champion in the future”, he concluded.
