In the final phase of recording The Ultimate Fighter Brasil, Wanderlei Silva visited, this Thursday, the WebTV studios of portal Terra, partner of SUPER FIGHTS. The fighter, who will be one of the program's coaches, was interviewed by internet users and spoke about the confrontation in front of Vitor belfort, commander of the other team after the reality show, and even a possible fight in front of Anderson Silva.
“I wouldn’t take him (Belfort) to dinner at my house. I don’t try to be friends with my opponents, only after I win do I become friends, but not very friendly (laughs)”, said Wand, who stated that he doesn’t mind Vitor’s favoritism in the duel.
“I'm going to break the bank. Bet on Vitor and you will lose. I’m going to bet some money on myself and I’m going to win some money from you”, said the former Pride champion, laughing.
Wanderlei, who was in a good mood throughout the interview, made a point of rejecting a possible confrontation against Anderson Silva, current champion of the UFC middleweight category. When asked if he would face his former Chute Boxe teammate, Wand was categorical.
"No. Anderson is a friend of mine, I've been with him for a long time. But I don’t know… If they offer me around 20 million, who knows (laughs)”, he concluded.
