“Our time is coming. As I am happy with so many demonstrations of support, I am making my name available to you, brothers. We won't have stickers, sound cars, painted walls, no one puts in 100 to receive 50. If you see the candidate spending a lot, open your eyes. My campaign will be Ghandi's campaign, simple, but with ideals, love and honesty from friends. Send this photo to your WhatsApp groups and whoever wants to post it on your Instagram, thank you very much! I'm counting on you! Count me in! You will see that your son will not run away from the fight”, said Silva.

“I'm going to fight this fight and then I'm going to run for congress and, if I'm elected, I'll go in one direction and, if I'm not elected, I'll go another. But the intention is that maybe this will be my last fight. … I think whether I’m elected or not, maybe this will be my last fight. I've done enough. But there are a lot of people coming back. I think my performance will say whether it’s my last or not”, said Wanderlei in an interview with the “MMAFigthing” website.
