Chael Sonnen He was known in Brazil for always provoking national athletes through Twitter, but this Sunday the loudmouth American received payback from a Brazilian fighter.
Sonnen announced via microblog that he will give a seminar at Team Quest, the gym where he trains, on September 11th, but moments later the heavyweight Antonio Pezão fired at Chael and provoked the middleweight on the social network.
“Sonnen, will you show how to get out of a triangle”, asked Pezão, referring to the blow that Chael lost to Anderson Silva, in the fight for the UFC title, held in June 2010. In addition to losing to Anderson in this way, the triangle was the blow responsible for three more defeats for the American, including setbacks for other Brazilian athletes such as Demian Maia and Renato Babalu.
Former enemy of Brazilians, Chael Sonnen collects a series of the country's arch-enemies. In addition to Anderson Silva e Antonio Pezão, the fighter has already clashed with athletes like Wanderlei Silva, Rodrigo Minotauro e Lyoto Machida.
