The UFC 208 card, scheduled for February 11th, in Brooklyn, New York (USA), suffered its first casualty. Light weight Gilbert Durinho injured his arm during training in preparation for facing Paul felder and was removed from the show. The company is still looking for a new opponent for the North American. The information was provided by the website “My MMA News” (USA).

At 30 years old, Durinho is coming off a defeat to compatriot Michel Trator, who beat him by points in the UFC Brasilia, in September 2016. With six fights in Ultimate, the jiu-jitsu ace has four wins and two losses. Felder also lost the last time he stepped into the Octagon. Interestingly, on the same day as the Brazilian, when he was knocked out by Francisco Massaranduba at the event held in the Brazilian capital.
With Gilbert's departure, Brazil will now have six representatives at UFC 208: Anderson Silva, Ronaldo Jacare, Glover Teixeira, Wilson reis, Roan Jucão and Luis Henrique KLB. The main fight of the night will be between Holly holm e Germaine DeRandamie, who will compete for the inaugural women's featherweight belt.
