In the presence of Vitor belfort on the UFC 175 card was short-lived. The Brazilian, announced as a replacement for Wanderlei Silva about two weeks ago, it was officially removed from the program on Wednesday night (11). The main reason for the cut is the difficulty encountered by the Ultimate organization in finding a new opponent for the “Phenomenon” after the sudden exclusion of Chael Sonnen of the event, after the North American was caught using illegal substances in a surprise anti-doping test.

With his departure from the UFC 175 card, Vitor belfort is also off the agenda of the Nevada Athletic Commission, the organization with which he had a hearing next week in order to obtain a license to fight in the state. The information was released by the website “MMA Junkie”. Now the fight between Urijah faber and Alexa Caceres becomes the second to last on the fight night schedule on July 5th, in Las Vegas (USA).
