As soon as the news spread through specialized websites, White said that Wand is out of UFC 175, on July 5th, in the fight against Chael Sonnen. But he is still under contract with the UFC, at least 'for now'.

“My intention in saying he was 'out' was to say that he was removed from the UFC 175 card and that the Nevada Athletic Commission would decide his future. He continues to be a UFC athlete, at least for now,” White said to reporter Ariel Helwani, from the MMA Fighting website.
