The four finalists for the third edition of TUF Brasil have been defined. In the last program of the series, shown in the early hours of this Monday (26), Marcio Lyoto, among the middleweights, and Vitor miranda, in the heavyweight division, guaranteed their presence in the decision. They won Ricardo Demente e Rick Monster, respectively . In the last episode, Antonio Shoe Face, in the heavyweights, and Warlley alves, in the middleweight division, had already confirmed their place in the final.
As the winners of this edition are athletes from the Chael Sonnen, the North American won the coaches' private duel against Wanderlei Silva by 7×5 and placed three athletes in the final.
Now the finals, which will take place next Saturday (31), at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium, in São Paulo, bring Warlley alves (team Chael Sonnen) against Marcio Lyoto (team Chael Sonnen) in the middleweight category. In the heavyweight division, Antonio Shoe Face (team Wanderlei Silva) stares Vitor miranda (team Chael Sonnen).
The program
The last episode of the TUF season marked the closing of the edition and a farewell between the fighters. Without the muse competition and scavenger hunts between the teams, which usually take up a lot of the edition's time, the program went straight to the semi-final fights, without overlooking the importance of TUF for the fighters. The production team even took a tattoo artist to the house so that the athletes could mark their bodies with the TUF Brasil brand.
Lyoto x Demente
The dispute between Marcio Lyoto e Ricardo Demente It was disputed and full of changes in control of the duel. Lyoto started better, working from medium distance with several kicks to Demente's body and face. In turn, the Wand team representative was trying to take him down all the time. However, despite reaching the clinch on two occasions, he never reached his objective.
After connecting a kick to his rival's belt, Marcio was close to victory. Demente visibly felt the blow and walked back. Lyoto took advantage of the moment and worked with a few more blows, however, he was unable to end the dispute.
The second round followed the same path, with Lyoto maintaining the dispute at medium distance. But the representative of the Chael Sonnen He injured his foot in the first round and couldn't shoot. With that, Demente took the opportunity to shorten the distance, accept the exchange and even connect strong crosses.
Halfway through the end, Ricardo landed a low kick on Marcio's genitals. Despite the recovery time, he didn't seem to feel comfortable at the end of the session and Demente scored points. With the match tied, a tiebreaker round was responsible for defining the finalist.
With the athletes already tired, the third round was tepid. Lyoto, despite the injury, returned to working with kicks from the waist line. Demente tried to close the distance by moving forward, but without landing any direct blows. After 15 minutes, the side referees gave the victory to Marcio Lyoto in the split decision.
Now, the middleweight final was concluded between athletes from the Chael Sonnen. Marcio Lyoto face Warlley alves.
Vitor miranda wins Rick Monster.
With the middleweight final defined, the last place in the heavyweight decision would be put at stake with Vitor miranda e Rick Monster. The fighters, who are teammates at Team Nogueira, had a special visit before the duel. Rodrigo Minotauro e Rogério Minotouro they went to the locker rooms to deliver a message of encouragement to the fighters.
As soon as the duel began, the interest of the athletes became clear. Rick tried to close the distance and look for a takedown, while Vitor wanted to work on his striking. In the short distance, Monstro, despite not getting the takedown, worked with several blows against Viana.
Vitor just protected his face and absorbed the attacks in a sensational way. When she managed to escape Monstro's punches, Miranda threw a knee at her rival's face, which she felt and fell. On top, he still tried a few punches, but the bell sounded announcing the end of the first half.
Still feeling the knee from the previous round, Rick tried to start the partial attack by attacking Vitor's legs in search of the takedown. However, the Sonnen team representative managed to defend and land on top. On the ground, he threw several punches until the referee ended the dispute, declaring a technical knockout.
As soon as the referee ended the fight, Miranda couldn't control himself and threw himself on the ground, crying a lot, to celebrate the triumph. Now he faces Antonio Shoe Face, who represented the Wanderlei Silva, in the grand final.

At the end of the program, guest coaches Hortência and Isabel spoke to the fighters about their experience in participating in TUF Brasil 3 and had their performances praised by the fighters. After the speech, theThe fighters embraced the two “mothers”, as they were affectionately called.
Final journey
As announced in the last program, the semi-finalists of this edition received a trip to Las Vegas as a prize. After some visits to tourist attractions in the city, the athletes had dinner with Dana White, president of the UFC. The director praised the fighters' participation in TUF Brasil 3, but stated that they need to fight well in the grand final to be even better known in the country.
“Brazilians, when they leave TUF Brasil, become famous as soon as the show ends because of their incredible audience. You are like rock stars, but you will become really famous if you win. You guys need to win this last fight, get into the UFC and start winning,” said Dana White.
