The black belt Ricardo Demente is the second semi-finalist of TUF Brasil 3 among middleweights. The athlete on the team Wanderlei Silva fought a great fight against Gulherme Bomba, from the Chael Sonnen, and after two very disputed rounds, he secured the triumph with a unanimous decision from the judges. The result increased Wand's advantage over its rival to 3-0.
The program
This Sunday's episode started in a different way than the previous ones. A competition between teams gave the winning team a dinner served by their rivals. The fighters had to assemble a raft with tires, bamboo and ropes. After the procedure, they had to go around a cone in the lagoon and return to land. Once again Silva's team achieved better performance and won the dispute.
The athletes of Chael Sonnen complained about a lack of union and even a soft body Joilton Pelegrino, who was unable to justify his poor performance in the test.
The fight

Again in the exchange, Bomba managed a takedown. He reached the back, but lost his position, being placed against the bars by Ricardo.
The beginning of the second round began with a good exchange of blows. Demente took the initiative, but Bomba responded with more focused punches. Uncomfortable in his exchange, Demente then knocked his rival down twice, but did not stabilize his position on the ground. Already tired, Gulherme seemed to be better at striking, but he ended up being taken to the ground once again in the final moments and ended the fight on the bottom.
In the end, victory Ricardo Demente in the unanimous decision of the judges. He joins Wagnão Gomes, also from the team of Wanderlei Silva, as the program's semifinalists. Among the heavyweights, Antonio Shoe Guy, also from the Wand team, is also among the four best in the competition.
