Fans' wait comes to an end tonight (09) with the inaugural episode of the third edition of The Ultimate Fighter Brasil. Starting this Sunday, 32 fighters, from the middleweight and heavyweight categories, enter the octagon in search of the dream contract with the largest MMA organization in the world. But the main highlight of this edition of the UFC is the enormous rivalry between the coaches Wanderlei Silva e Chael Sonnen, the first foreigner to command a team in the Brazilian program.
During the recordings, provocations from both sides marked the edition. At a certain point, Wand and Sonnen came to blows in a promotional video released by the production.

After the first two episodes with the qualifiers, athletes from each category will face each other weekly in the octagon to determine who advances in the competition. The two finalists from each division will fight at a live UFC event in Brazil on May 31, which will also feature the highly anticipated battle between Sonnen and Wanderlei.
Excited, the coaches cannot hide their happiness at the quality of the athletes during the selection process and recording of the program. “I can say that these guys really understood the meaning of not leaving the decision in the hands of the judges”, he celebrated Chael Sonnen .
“We have the best fighters competing for places in this edition. These guys came to do their best, they are not afraid at all, they went for all or nothing,” he said Wanderlei Silva, excited about what he saw.
