“Certainly, the main change was the posture in the cage. I was very calm in the last fight, due to the fact that the crowd was very nervous. It was in Los Angeles, at the opponent's house. I turned on the 'calm button' and felt very at peace. We studied each other and I ended up giving in to the pressure he (McKee) put on me at the beginning,” said Pitbull.
About 10 months after losing the featherweight title to the biggest jewel ever revealed by Bellator, Patrício got his immediate rematch. In the new scenario, the champion described the strategy so that last season's mistake would not be repeated.
“I didn’t let him pressure me. I didn't give in at any point to fight close to the fence. It was the other way around,” she concluded.
