UFC President, Dana White is usually tough on his athletes, especially if they give up comfortable situations in the organization. Proof of this is his relationship with Henry Cejudo, who decided to retire after defending the bantamweight belt (up to 61,2kg.) against Dominick Cruz on May 2020.

'Triplo C' prepares its return to mixed martial arts and, therefore, prepares its 'ground' with challenges to important names in Ultimate, such as the featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg.) Alexander Volkanovsky and the former holder of the featherweight and lightweight belts (up to 70,3kg.), Conor McGregor. However, in an interview with 'TMZ Sports', Dana tried to deny Cejudo's return to the sport and also showed dissatisfaction with the former fighter's recent provocations towards athletes from his franchise.

"No. Cejudo retired. Cejudo knows what he needs to do to come back and achieve whatever he wants. Talking shit on Instagram doesn’t get you into fights,” White said.

Considered one of the greatest fighters of Ultimate's recent years, Cejudo retired at just 33 years old. Henry hung up his gloves with a record of 16 triumphs and two setbacks in professional MMA and now sharpens the game of athletes like Deiveson Figueiredo, Jon Jones e Jiri Prochazka at 'Fight Ready'.
