“Honestly, if there is anyone who deserves it more, it would be (José) Aldo, after having won Rob font (in 2021). It would be the most rational thing to do in terms of merits. (…) I don't know where TJ fits into this 'pie', but somehow I felt like he (Dillashaw) needed to be next. So, I challenged in the Octagon. I didn’t know what I was thinking, actually,” said Aljamain.

Even mentioning the name of the Brazilian legend, Sterling still doesn't know when and who he will fight in his next challenge. At the UFC 273, the American returned to the octagon after 13 months of inactivity, to treat injuries.

World MMA icon, Aldo has not yet debuted in the UFC for the 2022 season. In his last commitment, the man from Manaus did well and overcame Rob font by points after 25 minutes of combat.
