After placing the speculated fight between Wanderlei Silva e Chael Sonnen at risk due to the remuneration demands of the Brazilian, who would have asked for a portion of the sales of pay-per-view, Ultimate president Dana White pointed out a new obstacle to the duel: Wand's physical condition. The comment was made by the director in a conversation with the press after UFC Fight Night 27, this Wednesday (28), in Indianapolis (USA).

“He (Wanderlei) won’t be fit until January. He can’t even start training until January,” White said. The president also revealed a conversation he had with Chael Sonnen about a possible duel against Phil Davis. “We talked a little today. He wants to fight on that 20th anniversary card (UFC 167, in November). He wants to do the co-main fight. I'm working on it. This fight (against Phil Davis) could happen”, he added.
