Conor's request may sound sportingly controversial to some, given the current moment the 'Notório' is experiencing in his career. Currently, the Irishman has two consecutive defeats in his career and is recovering from a serious injury to his left ankle.

At the end of 2021, McGregor had other plans for continuing his career in the UFC. The legend even publicly challenged Charles of the Bronx, lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg.) for a clash that would take place after his physical rehabilitation.

Today, Kamaru Usman, target of the 'Notório', reigns supreme at welterweight and collects 'victims' with each appearance. The Nigerian also holds first place in the men's weight-for-pound rankings in Ultimate.
