Chael Sonnen challenged Wanderlei Silva on several occasions recently and even set a deadline for the Brazilian to agree the fight. However, it seems that the controversial North American got tired of waiting and said he is no longer interested in fighting against the former Pride champion.

Sonnen revealed, in an interview with the Youtube channel MMA Heat, that Wand has no interest in the fight and will not force the Brazilian to enter the octagon with him. “I'm not looking for this (fight against Wand) anymore, I don't like putting pressure on the guys. I tried to confront him, but he doesn't want to fight. I'm not going to put my finger on the guy's chest. If a guy says 'no,' I'm not going to be an asshole about it," Sonnen said.

PUBLICITY:

Despite the statements of Chael Sonnen, Wanderlei Silva responded promptly to his rival's challenges and even stated, last week, that would suck the blood of the controversial North American. In addition, rumors are strong that the athletes will star in the main fight of UFC on FOX Sports 1, scheduled for August 17th, in Boston.
