Named as two of the greatest fighters in MMA history, Fedor Emelianenko e Jon Jones They also have respect for each other. After having his return confirmed by Bellator, the Russian received a call from the American, who congratulated him on the initiative. The registration was registered by the organization's official account on 'Twitter'.

“I just wanted to say congratulations. Welcome back”, said Jones, in a quick call, and was immediately thanked by the Russian.
Fedor will officially make his return on October 23rd, with no opponent yet confirmed. The last performance of 'The Last Emperor', as he is known, took place in December 2019.
On that occasion, he knocked out Rampage Jackson in the first round, in a fight held in Japan. In his record, he has 39 wins, six losses and one fight without result.
On the other hand, Jones is still in a financial mess with Ultimate and there is no prospect of a heavyweight debut (up to 120,2kg). The American gave up his light heavyweight title to focus on the transition to the new division.
