Since winning his first UFC belt in August 2018, Henry Cejudo has become a kind of 'showman' within the organization. With two official titles under his belt (flies and roosters), the North American now seems to have a bolder dream. The athlete provoked the new featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg.), Alexander Volkanovsky, suggesting that he is seeking his position as 'king of the division'. The situation happened after a publication by Cejudo on his official Twitter account.

“Showing my girl the next belt I'm going to win. Alexander Volkanovsky, I'm coming to take your belt, you 'big dwarf'. 'Quadruple C' is in development,” Henry wrote.

Cejudo called himself 'Triple C' after becoming bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg) in June last year, when he defeated Marlon moraes by the vacant title TJ Dillashaw. The nickname comes from the two Ultimate belts in addition to the Olympic medal won by the North American in 2008 (Beijing).

Knowing the challenge, it didn't take long for Alexander to respond to the bantamweight champion. The Australian, who became number one in the category by beating Max Holloway, in December last year, at UFC 245, mocked the North American's provocation.

“Don’t make empty promises on Valentine’s Day,” wrote the Australian.

Currently, Cejudo is in negotiations with Ultimate to return to the octagon and make his first belt defense. It seems that Henry will face José Aldo in the main fight of UFC 250, which will take place in São Paulo, in May.
