It is impossible to predict what will happen in the main fight of the UFC 246, this Saturday (18), when Conor McGregor returns to the octagon after more than a year of inactivity to face Donald Cerrone. However, the North American gained a strong following for the clash. In an interview with 'BT Sport', the light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg) declared his support for 'Cowboy', but did not venture a guess about the final result.

“At the same time, we have Conor McGregor. I love everything he has done for the sport. A great negotiator, and he brought a lot of awareness to our sport,” Jon said.

In the end, when asked who would win the long-awaited clash, the champion preferred to remain 'on the fence'. Aware that MMA fans are in for a great show, 'Bones' limited himself to a cordial response to both sides.

“May the best man win”, he concluded.
