“(Irene) is a tough athlete, boxer, strong. I've never faced a changer of her level. I tested myself against grappling athletes and it will be a very big test. By going through it, I will be well prepared. Aldana is very tough, I don't see any weaknesses in her. She beat (Raquel) Pennington, but they 'forked' her. In the UFC, she is no pushover, they are the best, said the fighter.

Currently in second place in the bantamweight rankings, Ketlen will have the opportunity to perform on what has everything to be the biggest card of the year. With three title fights, including the one in her division, the man from Manaus can secure her presence in a future title fight, if she has a convincing performance in front of the spectators and Ultimate management.

Even with her desire to fight for the title, the Brazilian keeps her feet on the ground and believes that the chance will come at the right time. With caution, the fighter states that she will take one step at a time until her destiny intersects with the belt, which today belongs to her compatriot, Amanda nunes.

“I'm number two in the rankings. So, if I win, I don't see anyone else in front of me. I will be becoming number one. Every athlete dreams of being a champion, but right now, I'm focused on Aldana. Today, for me, she is the one who has the belt”, said the Brazilian.

Vieira also admitted that she is in no rush for the UFC to promote her as a challenger. According to the manauara, time can work in her favor during the period in which she is not scheduled to fight for the belt.

“The longer it takes, the longer I will be prepared and matured. More complete. I see everything as a positive factor. I can't take a step bigger than my leg. Aldana has a good fighting rhythm, with three or four fights a year and will put me to the test”, said the athlete.

At 28 years old, Ketlen continues to have a perfect record. The fighter has already performed on 10 occasions and has never felt the taste of defeat. Debuting for the UFC in October 2016, on the 14th, Manauara will complete its fifth appearance for the company.

Brazilian rival for UFC 245, Irene tries to win her second consecutive victory for the company. After triumph over Vanessa melo, Aldana, who is currently in 10th place in the rankings, could take a leap forward in the division in the event of a positive result over Vieira. At 31 years old, the Mexican has 16 fights, with 11 triumphs and five setbacks in her professional MMA career.
