Anthony Smith says he's ready to replace Jones or Gustafsson

'Lionheart' assured that after the fight at UFC Moncton with Volkan Oezdemir he will continue training so he can be the reserve for the main fight of UFC 232

Anthony Smith prepares for the biggest fight of his career against Volkan oezdemir in the main fight of UFC Moncton this Saturday (27). Aiming for the light heavyweight belt, 'Lionheart' is looking for a triumph. A win could put him in line to challenge for the light heavyweight title. In an interview with the UFC Unfiltered podcast, the fighter stated that after the confrontation with 'No team' he will continue training to be able to replace Jon Jones ou Alexander Gustafson at UFC 232 if something happens.

“I think after this fight, I will stay in good shape and continue training, in case something happens with the Jones and Gustafsson fight. You never know what will happen. This game is crazy and stranger things have happened. I’ll be ready to go in if I need to,” Smith said.
