More than defeat to Nate diaz at UFC 196, the first in his career in the octagon, Conor McGregor seems to have really felt the repercussions of his setback, especially among his Brazilian rivals. “I came in with everything and put everything on the line. I took a risk and made a mistake. I will never apologize for taking a risk. Shit happens. I will take this defeat like a man. I won't run away from it. I'm not going to change who I am. If another champion moves up two categories, let me know. If you're tired of hearing me talk about money, take a nap. I'll still be here when you wake up, with the highest pay per view and the highest box office, still talking multiples of seven. Thank you for your true support, f*** the hate. I love all of this. I'll still eat steak for breakfast. I've been here many times in my life, in one way or another. I'm going to swallow it all and come back stronger. Aldo, you are a coward. Dos Anjos, you are a coward. When the history books are written, I will attend. You appeared on Twitter. To the fans, never run away from challenges! Never run from adversity. Face yourself head on. Nate, I will see you again”, wrote the fighter on his official profile on Instagram.
