Vitor belfort has not lost focus even after the most recent postponement of his fight against Chris Weidman, which will put the UFC middleweight belt at stake on a date to be determined.

The title challenger posted a photo of his training on his social media and briefly commented on the change of dates: “The fight has been postponed once again, and do you know what that means? More time to buy new weapons,” wrote Belfort.

Originally, Belfort and Weidman were scheduled to face each other in May last year, but the Brazilian was removed from the fight following the ban on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). The appointment was then rescheduled for December, but Weidman discovered an old fracture in his hand and was unable to fight. The long-awaited duel would take place in February, when the champion once again injured himself, this time to his rib, and postponed the meeting once again.

Therefore, it is expected that the fight between Chris Weidman e Vitor belfort take place on May 23, in Las Vegas (USA), in the main fight of UFC 187.
