This week, Chael Sonnen surprised by revealing that he received a proposal from WWE, the main pro-wrestling organization (or telecatch, in Brazil) and which could carry out the long-awaited fight against Wanderlei Silva in the event that mixes performing and martial arts. After Sonnen's revelation, it was Wanderlei's turn to go public, confirm the proposal and ask his fans' opinion about the possible agreement.

“I received a million-dollar proposal from WWE, the American telecatch, and I'm thinking: how can only MMA fighters receive so little? They came up with numbers I've never seen. What do you think of the idea?”, published “Cachorro Louco” on its official profile on Facebook.

In general, in the more than a thousand comments recorded in the publication, fans' opinions are in favor of the former PRIDE champion's agreement with WWE.

According to the specialized website “Wrestling Observer”, Chael Sonnen will be present at “WrestleMania 31” (WWE’s biggest annual event) and will take the opportunity to negotiate his trip to pro wrestling. "Chael Sonnen will be present at both the Hall of Fame ceremony and WrestleMania 31. There is also, apparently, a meeting scheduled, although this is an information meeting, which is why WWE denies inviting him to the show”, says the report.

Wanderlei Silva e Chael Sonnen have been retired from MMA since the end of last year, after a series of problems with anti-doping tests during the preparation for the fight between them. Wand was banned for life from the sport by the Nevada Athletic Commission for evading a surprise tryout. Sonnen, on the other hand, received a two-year suspension from the entity for being caught using prohibited substances twice in less than a month, in addition to being a repeat offender.
