Looking for his third consecutive UFC victory, Rodrigo Damm should face Rashid Magomedov at TUF Brasil 3 Finale, an event that will be held in São Paulo, on May 31st. The fight, which has not yet been officially confirmed by the UFC, was announced by the Brazilian fighter's press office.
Damm, 34 years old, has a record of three wins and one loss in Ultimate. In his last two fights, he beat Mizuto Hirota and Ivan Batman in Fortaleza and Jaraguá do Sul, respectively. His only setback in the organization was in November 2012, in Montreal, Canada, when he lost to Antonio Carvalho in a split decision by the judges.
Magomedov has only one fight in the UFC so far, in event number 169, held in February, in New Jersey (United States). On that occasion, he beat Tony Martin in a unanimous decision by the judges. At 29 years old, Magomedov has a record of 16 wins and just one defeat, suffered in 2010.
TUF Brasil 3 Finale will be held at Ginásio do Ibirapuera and its main fight will be the confrontation between Wanderlei Silva e Chael Sonnen.
