Weeks after being arrested in Ireland at the end of March for driving a car at high speed, Conor McGregor, again, had to face justice. According to 'Dublin Live', the MMA legend will face six charges for violations of the country's highway code, a situation determined at a hearing held this Thursday (7), at Blanchardstown Court. In last month's incident, the former UFC champion was detained, but later released after paying bail.
According to information released by 'MMA fighting', Conor was initially accused of dangerous driving. The athlete, however, had his situation worsened with four more penalties: driving without insurance, a driver's license and not presenting the requested documentation within 10 days, as required by the Garda authorities in Ireland.
At the time, Conor's representative, Keren Kessler, stated that the athlete was heading to the gym when he was approached by the police force.
After the first session to deal with the case, McGregor will still have to go through another hearing. To resolve the case, the Irishman must return to court in June.
The profile 'Violent MoneyTV', at the Twitter, recorded the moment the fighter left the audience. The athlete, however, chose not to talk to the press.
