“Valentina is a great fighter and has my total respect, but I think the strategy would be to work on ground and pound and not give her any space. She does very well when she has space and she is left-handed. So, I'm going to walk to the side of her bad arm, use my strength and my takedowns”, stated the Brazilian, in an interview with 'MMA fighting'.

Proving that she knows Shevchenko, Jéssica continued to evaluate the fight plan and analyze the points of greatest caution against the champion.

“You have to make sure her arms and legs are tired in the first few rounds. Then, it becomes easier. This is something I do well. I'm strong against the bars and it takes a while for me to get tired. It sets me apart,” said the athlete.

Former strawweight champion (up to 52,1kg.), Bate-Estaca, in addition to the opportunity to test herself against one of the best fighters in history, could make history in the UFC. After becoming the first woman to perform in three different weight categories, the Paraná native would have the chance to join Amanda nunes and hold two titles in different divisions. Aware of the responsibility, Andrade spoke about the expectations for the chance he received.

“It would be a great achievement. I'm always making history, trying to evolve in all aspects. It would be a dream come true, becoming flyweight champion and reaching the weight-for-pound rankings, and beating Valentina. It would be wonderful”, he concluded.
