STRONG IMAGE: Fighter has his ear torn apart at an MMA event in Poland; see the before and after

The year 2020 ended up being marked by impressive images of injuries to the ears of MMA practitioners. The last case occurred in Poland, during FEN (Fight Exclusive Night) 31, on Saturday (28), featuring Lukasz Borowski and Pawel Trybala.

In the images (see below), it is possible to see the athletes exchanging blows in the opening seconds. A straight right from Pawel, however, hit Lukasz square in the ear. Apparently, Borowski didn't realize the severity of the injury right away. The athlete became aware of what happened after the referee correctly ran towards him and prevented the confrontation from continuing.

After Piotr Michalak (referee) interrupted, Lukasz was attended to by the company's medical team. At first, the fighter seemed irritated by the incident and even made an obscene gesture towards his opponent.

With the knockout announced, as Borowski was unable to continue the fight, the action ended up confirming the terrible phase of the fighter's career. Now, the athlete continues with a negative record. The Pole, today, has four wins and nine defeats in 13 commitments as a professional.

Trybala, in turn, reached the fourth positive result in a row. The fighter now has seven triumphs and three setbacks in the sport.
