With just over a month to go until Bellator 220, the event's fight program has received a boost in weight. Former UFC champion, Ben henderson will face Adam Piccolotti at lightweight. The fight will take place on the main card on April 27th in São José, California (USA).

Bendo, as he is known, is coming off two consecutive wins in Bellator. Since his debut in the franchise in April 2016, the American has recorded three triumphs and three setbacks in six fights. At 35 years old, Henderson has 34 fights on his record, with 26 victories and eight setbacks.
Adam Piccolotti is also coming off two consecutive victories in 2018. The American dreams of a victory over the former UFC champion to be able to challenge for the lightweight belt. At 30 years old, 'The Bomb' has 13 fights in his professional career, 11 triumphs and two setbacks.
In the main fight of Bellator 220, Rory McDonald defends the welterweight title against Jon Fitch. In the co-main event, Ilima-Lei MacFarlane will try to preserve the flyweight belt in a fight against Veta Arteaga.
