John Lineker suffers injury and is out of UFC Brooklyn

With almost a week to go before the event, the Brazilian suffered a rib injury during training and was withdrawn from his fight against Cory Sandhagen

John Lineker will have to wait a little longer to go in search of his three consecutive victories. Escalated to face Cory Sandhagen at UFC Brooklyn, on January 19th, the Brazilian suffered a rib injury and was removed from the fight. The information was given first-hand by the AgFight website.

Lineker suffered the injury during training for the fight at UFC Brooklyn. The rib injury was not serious and the Brazilian should recover quickly. However, with no time to rehabilitate, John had to be removed from the first Ultimate event in 2019.

The Brazilian has 39 fights in his career, with 31 triumphs and eight setbacks. Lineker comes on the back of two consecutive victories. In his last fight, John knocked out brian kelleher in the third round.
