Former Chelsea goalkeeper takes part in the main fight at Imortal FC, in Curitiba

Former Chelsea goalkeeper Ricardo Prasel abandoned football in 2011 due to injuries and switched to MMA. Now, the 28-year-old from Paraná will take part in the main fight of the 10th edition of Imortal FC, an event that takes place on the 1st, in Curitiba. The former 'shirt number 1' is coming off a defeat in Japan, the first of his current career, and sees the duel against Alison Vicente as an opportunity to resume the winning streak he has enjoyed since his debut in December 2012.

Although she is only three years older than Prasel, Alison Vicente has a very extensive record, with no less than 37 fights. In total, the Chute Boxe athlete ended up with his arm raised in 22 of them, 13 of which were by knockout and eight by submission. Coming from four consecutive victories, he has in mind what he must do to make Prasel his newest victim: avoid the grappling fight.

“Victory brings something very important: custom! About my opponent's game? Predictable. He will want the fight on the ground at any cost, he has a dangerous triangle attack and likes to attack from some positions on the feet.
