Khabib Nurmagomedov won Conor McGregor by submission in the main fight at UFC 229 in Las Vegas (USA). After the victory, the Russian jumped over the octagon and attacked the Irishman's teammate, Dillon Danis. Meanwhile, 'Eagle's colleagues attacked 'Notoriuos' who returned the attack. In response, the Nevada Athletic Commission provisionally suspended both athletes for 10 days. This Wednesday (24), the committee met and voted to maintain the suspension of the fighters until the new hearing, on December 10th.

Unhappy with the widespread fight at UFC 229, NSAC president Anthony Marnell stated that he could permanently ban Khabib and McGregor from MMA in the United States and prevent the payment of their salaries. Furthermore, he declared that if he had known what he knows now about the fact, the Irishman would also have the US$3 million purse withheld.
After UFC 229, the Athletic Commission blocked Khabib's $1 million salary. During the meeting, the committee members decided to release half of the Russian's scholarship. The other 50% will remain retained until December 10th.
The Nevada Athletic Commission's next hearing will be the last step in deciding what the fighters' punishments will be. The organization demanded the presence of Khabib and McGregor at the meeting.
