The widespread fight after UFC 229, an event held last Saturday (06), in Las Vegas (USA), is beginning to have greater consequences. Protagonists of the confusion, Khabib Nurmagomedov e Conor McGregor were suspended by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC), the entity that regulated the show. The sentence, however, was low: the pair are preventively punished for 10 days, starting from October 15th.

The Commission also revealed that greater punishments may be applied over the next few weeks, when new meetings will be held to discuss the case. Previously, Khabib had already been fined almost R$1 million of his salary. McGregor, in turn, did not suffer 'in his pocket'.

Who can also be punished is Zubaira Tukhugov, Nurmagomedov's training partner, who attacked the Irishman in the octagon after the fight. According to president Dana White, everyone involved, with the exception of Khabib and Conor, would be expelled from the UFC. This Thursday, the lightweight champion came out in defense of his team, threatening to leave the company if greater punishments were applied.
