The expectation was for a knockout and that was exactly what happened in the dispute between Quinton Rampage Jackson e Wanderlei Silva. After three historic duels, in the fourth meeting between the legends of the sport, the North American knocked out the 'Crazy Dog' in the second round and equalized the dispute between them with two victories for each side. The clash was an attraction at Bellator 206, an event held on Saturday night (29), in San Jose (USA).

The fight

In the second round, the fight came back hot. Rampage he cornered Wand against the bars, but the Brazilian opened his arsenal and in an insane exchange of blows came close to a knockout, forcing the North American to retreat.

Wanderlei still managed to respond and recover, but was caught again in a counterattack. The 'Crazy Dog' tried an overhand right, a mark that has also guaranteed many victories, but the punch went empty. The North American, in turn, struck inside and the attack entered first, straight to the face.

Douglas Lima wins and advances

Bellator welterweight champion (up to 77,1 kg.), Rory McDonald moved up the middleweight division (up to 84 kg.) to try to dethrone Gegard Mousasi. But the experience was not good for the Canadian. Visibly bigger, the Iranian-born Armenian dominated the contest and won by technical knockout in the second round.
