Shortly after announcing its calendar for the remainder of 2018, Brave Combat Federation announced two fights on the card that will mark the promotion's return to the United Arab Emirates: the champions Carlston Harris (meio-médio) e Elias Boudegzdame (pena) enfrentam Jarrah Al-Selawe e Bubba Jenkins, respectivamente. O Brave 16 está marcado para o dia 21 de setembro, em Abu Dhabi.

Harris hasn't fought since August last year, when he won his inaugural 77kg belt with a dominant victory over Englishman Carl Booth, at Brave 8, in Curitiba. Born in Guyana, “Moçambique” trains and lives in Rio de Janeiro for more than seven years. He will face Al-Selawe, who became the most successful fighter in the organization's history, with five victories, by dominating the dangerous French-Algerian Tahar Hadbi in his last appearance, at Brave 12, in Indonesia. The duel between the two will serve as the main fight of Brave 16.
Já Boudegzdame terá o maior desafio de sua carreira. “Smile” vem de seis vitórias seguidas, com cinco finalizações e um nocaute técnico. O franco-argelino conquistou o cinturão diante de Masio Fullen no Brave 4 e tornou-se o primeiro campeão a defender o título, quando também finalizou Jakub Kowalewicz em março. Bubba Jenkins, por sua vez, fará sua estreia pelo Brave Combat Federation após assinar um contrato de longo prazo com a promoção. Campeão universitário Divisão I de wrestling nos Estados Unidos, Jenkins treina na Black House e tem um cartel de 12 vitórias e quatro derrotas.
Brave 16 will mark the Middle East's biggest MMA organization's second time in the UAE. The first show was Brave 4 which, interestingly enough, crowned Boudegzdame as champion. Still in 2018, the promotion will visit Morocco, Colombia, Pakistan, Bahrain, South Africa, Saudi Arabia and India.
