After his absence was felt at the announcement of Bellator's welterweight GP, Paul Daley signed a contract renewal with the organization. With this, the 35-year-old Englishman confirmed his participation in the Gran Prix. His first fight has not yet been announced.

Daley had stints in all of the world's main MMA organizations, such as UFC, Strikeforce, BAMMA, Cage Rage, Pancrase and others. He has been with Bellator since February 2015 when he beat André Santos at event 134. Paul has a record of 58 fights, with 40 wins, 16 losses and two draws.
In addition to Daley, the Gran Prix will also feature the participation of Rory McDonald, Douglas lima, Michael Page, Andrei Koreshkov, Lorenz Larkin, Ed Ruth, Jon Fitch, Neiman Gracie and Yaroslav Amosov.
The championship's debut fight will be Douglas lima e Andrei Koreshkov, no Bellator 206, dia 29 de setembro.
