Bellator announced this Tuesday (17) the star cast that will participate in the welterweight Gran Prix starting on September 29th. The company's president, Scott Coker, announced that the fighters scheduled are: Rory McDonald, Michael Page, Douglas lima, Neiman Gracie, Jon Fitch, Lorenz Larkin, Ed Ruth, Andrei Koreshkov e Aroslav Amazov.

It was also revealed that an athlete (not yet announced) will be a reserve to replace any of the participants in case of injury.
The first fight of the tournament will be on September 29th between the former champions Douglas lima e Andrei Koreshkov no Bellator 205. O card ainda terá a superluta entre Rory McDonald e Gegard Mousasi for the middleweight title. Regardless of the result, the Canadian will compete in the GP in February 2019.
