The last Ultimate event in Brazil in 2018 will be in São Paulo at Ginásio do Ibirapuera on September 22nd. So far, two fights have been announced for the show in São Paulo. Livia Renata Souza, in her debut in the organization, will face veteran Alex Chambers in the women's strawweight division. The other confirmed clash is between the Brazilian, Luis Henrique “KLB” and Mark Godbeer in the light heavyweight division.
'Livinha' is a former Invicta FC champion and earned her place in Ultimate after defeating Ayaka Hamasaki and Janaisa Morandin. Her UFC debut was scheduled for February this year against Jessica Aguilar, but the Brazilian suffered a hand injury and the fight was cancelled.
His opponent, Chambers at 39 years old, has an irregular record in Ultimate, with three defeats in four fights. It comes from two consecutive defeats against paige vanzant and Nadia Kassem.
Luis Henrique KLB after two defeats moved down to the light heavyweight category for his next fight. The Brazilian has a record of 14 fights, 10 wins and four defeats.
Englishman Mark Godbeer is coming off a defeat to Dmitriy Sosnovskiy in his last fight. He has 13 triumphs and four setbacks in his career.
