After denying retirement at the beginning of the week, Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone declared this Thursday (28) a possible return to the lightweight division of Ultimate. In the welterweight division, so far there have been four defeats in five fights.

In December 2015, after being knocked out by the Brazilian Rafael dos Anjos in a title fight, Cowboy decided to move up to welterweight (77 kg). In his first fight in the division, Cerrone defeated Alex Oliveira by knockout in February 2016.
After defeat to Leon edwards No. UFC Singapore on Saturday (23), the North American fighter took to social media and posted the following message: “The face I make at 70 kg fighters when they think the old Cowboy is easy prey”.
