In an interview with the website “Sport24.ru”, the Russian champion spoke about the possible confrontation and that he is worried that the Irishman will withdraw from the duel.

Even with Nurmagomedov's suggestion that McGregor has remained silent in negotiations for the potential clash, the Irishman's coach, Owen Roddy, recently suggested that the fight was "shaping up nicely."
It is speculated that the confrontation between Nurmagomedov and McGregor will take place in the main fight of UFC 229, on October 06th.
