If the career of Anderson Silva in the cinema it seems to take off, on the other hand, its sequence within the UFC remains uncertain. The fighter was caught undergoing an anti-doping test conducted by USADA while preparing to face Kelvin Gastelum in the main fight of UFC China, in October 2017. The Brazilian has been preventively suspended since then. Having already failed in a previous examination, Spider could face a sentence of up to four years, if it is proven that he acted in bad faith. As a result, Anderson would only fight again at the age of 46, in 2021.

Although there is still no official confirmation, according to a note published on the Combate channel website, Anderson was caught with testosterone and diuretics in his test.
