Without the hype of UFC 224, in Rio, another major promotion held an event this Saturday night (12). Bellator 199, held in San Jose (USA), honored the former UFC Ryan bader. He only needed 15 seconds to knock him out King mo and guarantee the last place in the semifinals in the organization's heavyweight GP (see the video of the knockout below). With the triumph, he faces Matt Mitrione for the chance to compete for the tournament title.

The fight
Bellator light heavyweight champion (up to 93 kg.), Ryan bader debuted in the heavyweight division (up to 120 kg.) in style. Before the veteran King mo, the former UFC fighter ended the dispute in the first exchange of blows.
After Mo attempted a leg strike, Bader fired a short overhand left. Although the punch didn't have much power, it hit Mo in the jaw, which made him fall. On the ground, he threw a few more punches until referee Mike Beltran interrupted the dispute and declared a technical knockout.
Fitch debuts with victory
Besides Ryan bader, another former UFC fighter did well in Bellator's circular cage. Veteran Jon Fitch faced Paul Daley and did what was expected of him. He abused the takedowns, pressured the Englishman on the ground and took the fight with a unanimous decision from the judges.
