Adriano Moraes is back with the adjusted target. The current flyweight champion faces an old opponent on June 16th, in Beijing, China. He faces Geje Eustaquio, owner of the division's interim belt.
Adriano and Geje had already faced each other at One FC 20, where the Brazilian prevailed via submission in the second round. Now, four years later, with both athletes wearing the belts, they decide the position of best athlete in the organization's flyweight division.

“Training is great and without injury it’s even better (laughs). I have recovered from my injury and remain confident in training. I'm always training a lot in wrestling and boxing. I started karate, a great and accurate art. Let’s mix it up and add this ancient art to my game”, details Moraes, who has won four in a row, before analyzing the next fight, against Eustaquio.
“I really want to fight. I had already fought against Eustaquio, in 2014, and I was able to win by submission. I'm going into this fight with the same mindset as always, of doing a great job. I want to unleash my game like I always have.”
Without losing in MMA since 2016, Adriano showed technical evolution in the stand-up department, alternating quick punches and accurate kicks and still maintained his Jiu-Jitsu at a high level, see his recent submissions over Eugene Toquero, Tilek Batyrov and Danny Kingad, respectively. . “Well, growth is the way to mature in art and competitions. I believe that the peak is still far away and there is a lot of grass to eat, but, of course, I continue to strengthen myself mentally, training and learning every day. Evolution can never stop”, he concluded
