The Ultimate circus returns to England this Saturday (5), for UFC 138. The city of Birmingham will host the show, which features as its main attraction the duel between Chris Leben, which comes from an overwhelming victory over Wanderlei Silva, and Mark Muñoz, who is also coming off a victory against a Brazilian, Demian Maia. UFC 138 also features two Brazilians on the fight program: Thiago Pitbull faces Swedish naturalized Congolese Papy Abedi, e Renan Barao, who is in the co-main fight against English local idol Brad pickett.

Renan Barao looking for a belt chance
After debuting in the UFC with a victory, against Cole Escovedo, in May, the native of Rio Grande do Norte Renan Barao stands out at UFC 138 and participates for the first time in the co-main fight, against the local idol Brad pickett. After collecting titles in Brazil, Barão signed with the WEC and debuted with a submission victory over Anthony Leone. Six months later, he also submitted Chris Cariaso. With his good form, Barão already dreams of competing for the bantamweight belt, currently held by Dominick Cruz.
“My preparation was the best possible. I trained a lot, doing the physical preparation part, Boxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling and I'm ready for the fight”, said the Brazilian, who does not hide his desire to face Dominick Cruz. “It will depend on the UFC (contending for the belt), but I believe that if I perform well, I will be close. Of course, being the champion of a category has always been my focus, but I’m not in a rush to get there”, he added.
Thiago Pitbull faces UFC newcomer
the ceará Thiago Pitbull Alves is also back in the world's most famous octagon. After struggling to make weight in the welterweight category, Thiago will have a tough opponent ahead of him: Papy Abedi. The Congolese-born Swedish national has a black belt in Judo and is one of the promises in the welterweight category.
